O Professor Jamie Wood é especialista em Antiguidade tardia e Alta Idade Média, e tem-se dedicado sobretudo ao estudo da Hispânia. Publicou recentemente Isidore of Seville and his reception in the early Middle Ages: transmitting and transforming knowledge. Late Antique and Early Medieval Iberia, Amsterdam (2016) e The politics of identity in Visigothic Spain: religion and power in the histories of Isidore of Seville, Leiden, Brill (2012). É um dos editores do Brill’s Companion to Visigothic Iberia (forthcoming).
