The Erasmus+ Programme promotes and supports the mobility of administrative staff for training, career development and leadership missions. These missions can include a diverse set of activities, ranging from visits to institutions, meetings with local services, job shadowing, participation in training, among others. Mobility stays are an excellent opportunity to share experiences and good practices.

The School of Arts and Humanities encourages the mobility of administrative staff, either through the Erasmus+ program, or through cooperation and exchange agreements.

Training missions for foreign administrative staff

Foreign administrative staff interested in a short term mobility for training missions at the School of Arts and Humanities should contact the International Cooperation Office (Este endereço de email está protegido contra piratas. Necessita ativar o JavaScript para o visualizar.).

In the first contact, it is recommended that those interested should indicate the area and/or service that they would like to visit, as well as the type of activity desired, the date and duration of the visit.

The International Cooperation Office provides the necessary administrative support, establishing contacts with the department of the School of Arts and Humanities to be visited.

Visas

Visiting professors, researchers and administrative staff who do not hold the nationality of one of the European Union countries or of a country in the European Economic Area need a visa before entering Portugal. In order to obtain a visa, they must previously apply for a letter of acceptance from the School of Arts and Humanities.

The visa should be requested at a Portuguese Embassy or Consular Post in the country of origin. It is recommended that visa applications are made at least two months before the expected date of arrival in Portugal to ensure that they are issued on time.

Accommodation

A Universidade de Lisboa possui residências específicas para docentes, investigadores e técnicos. Os interessados podem contactar o Núcleo de Cooperação Internacional (Este endereço de email está protegido contra piratas. Training missions for administrative staff abroad

Every year, the application process for Erasmus+ training missions abroad is centralised at the Rectory of ULisboa. The School of Arts and Humanities disseminates to its staff the application requirements and deadlines and centralises the processes for the Rectory's appreciation.

For more information about the Erasmus+ scholarships, we recommend consulting the ULisboa website and, in particular, the annual notice, published online.
