If you have any particular need arising from a medical condition, a physical or sensory disability, or a specific learning difficulty, you can contact Career and Student Support Office (Núcleo de Orientação de Carreira e Apoio ao Estudante). To request the student with special needs statute, students must register at the Student Support Office and provide information on the needs or any specific arrangements that might be necessary.

Necessary requirements to request the Special Needs statute
The student is expected to present a medical certificate or equivalent grounds for the special arrangements in English. If the student has a statement of the special arrangements made by his/her own university, it shoud be presented in English.
Studying
Issues related to studying and study counseling should be discussed first with the Erasmus Coordinator at the School of Arts and Humanities.
Please inform us in good time if you need special arrangements in classrooms and/or examinations (for example easy access to lecture rooms, or exam arrangements due to dyslexia).
Accomodation
If you have special requests concerning accommodation, please inform the International Cooperation Office and apply for accommodation as early as possible before your arrival.
